The very first question that comes to most people's minds when they hear the term "pressure washing" is what exactly is it. Pressure washing is simply a form of house cleaning that involves using high pressure jets of water to clean small areas or entire walls and windows. In other words, pressure washing can be used to clean just about any surface in your house. One of the most popular uses for pressure washing is around decks, patios, and sheds.

A pressure washer works by applying high-pressure water onto a surface with a detergent and a high power nozzle. The result is a sparkling clean surface that is free of dirt and debris. There are two primary types of pressure washing systems. The first type is what is known as an external mount system which mounts the pump and nozzle outside the home. The second type is what is commonly called an internal mount system that mounts the pump and nozzle within the home.

So what exactly is pressure washing? The actual act of pushing water against a surface is what is termed as "pressuring" the surfaces. The actual water pressure used is what is considered an expressed rate (which is how much water is exerted per pound of weight). Another thing to consider is that pressure washing can also be referred to as wet pressure washing and dry pressure washing. If you want to know the difference between these two styles, then keep reading.

When you pressure wash your home, you are essentially "shaking up" the structure of your home's interior. By doing this, it causes cracks, mildew, rot, and mold to appear throughout your home. Although there are many products on the market today that claim to be able to handle this task, there are really only a few that work very well.

To make sure that you get the most benefit from your pressure washing efforts, it is best to go with a brand of washer that has been around for a while. You should never start with the first pressure washing system that you come across. It is better to spend some time shopping around for different brands and finding the one that fits best into your lifestyle. You want something that is powerful enough to handle your needs, but also lightweight enough so that you can maneuver around your home or apartment easily.

To further reduce the amount of water used from your pressure washer, you should make sure that you shut it off after you are done. The reason why is because the more water that is being pumped through the washer, the more water that is being wasted and not helpful to you or the environment. If you can find a system that allows you to just shut it off without shutting it off altogether, then you will not have wasted any water at all!
